We are bombarded with ads 24/7 and our world is so full of stuff. How do we navigate parenting in modern consumeristic society? Little people have wants too, and wants are not wrong. Where do we draw the line? Ultimately as parents, we want to raise compassionate, responsible, appreciative children who don’t put all their worth, value, and identity in stuff. I talk about 5 very practical, non-magical ways to raise non-materialistic children. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have it all figured out and my kids are not perfect, but it seems to be working and that’s why I’m still at it.
